- Food photos: Images you choose to upload for AI-powered food recognition. Photos are processed on our servers and are not stored permanently after analysis is complete.
- Support communications: Information you provide when contacting our help center or submitting a refund request.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and app version.
- Usage data: Features accessed, session duration, and error logs — used to improve app stability.
- Step count data: Pedometer sensor data from your device when you grant Activity Recognition permission, used solely for step counting within the app.
- Purchase information: Subscription status processed through Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

- We do not collect precise GPS location.
- We do not access your contacts, call logs, or SMS messages.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not collect data from children under 13 years of age intentionally.

4. AI Features and Data Processing
Calorie Snap uses artificial intelligence to analyze food photos and generate dietary recommendations. When you use these features:
- Food photos are transmitted securely to our AI processing servers using HTTPS encryption.
- Photos are analyzed to identify food items and estimate nutritional content.
- Photos are deleted from our servers immediately after analysis is complete and are not used for AI training without your explicit consent.
- Text-based requests (e.g., meal plan generation) are processed by our AI services and are not linked to your identity.

- Health logs: Stored on your device and synced to our servers; deleted when you delete your account.
- Food photos: Deleted from our servers immediately after AI analysis is complete (within minutes).
- Anonymous usage data: May be retained for up to 24 months for analytics purposes.
- Legal retention: Certain data may be retained longer if required by applicable law (e.g., transaction records for tax compliance).

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
